How preserve your costume jewelry

Scusate l’assenza ma questa settimana ho avuto troppe cose da fare e 

non ho avuto il tempo per scrivere e creare…

Vorrei iniziare la settimana dandovi qualche consiglio 

per mantenere al meglio i vostri bijoux… 

Hello everybody!

Sorry for the absence, but this week I had too many things to do and 

I have not had the time to write and create...

I would like to start the week giving you a few suggestions 

to preserve your costume jewelry...

1) Conservateli sempre in una scatola chiusa (meglio una scatola per ogni bijoux oppure se avete un portagioie separate ogni bijoux con un panno morbido): 

l'esposizione all'aria, alla luce e alla polvere ossida e opacizza i metalli.

1) Always keep them in a closed box (preferably a box for each costume jewelry, or if you have a box for jewels separate every costume jewelry with a soft cloth): 

the exposure to air, light and dust oxidises and tarnishes metals.

2) Truccatevi e profumatevi prima di indossarli: 

i profumi, come pure i cosmetici e le lacche, contengono agenti 

chimici in grado di opacizzare i vostri gioielli.

2) Make you up and perfume you before wearing them: 

fragrances, as well as cosmetics and hairspray, contain chemicals 

agents that can oxidise your jewelry.

3) Evitate anche di far entrare in contatto la bigiotteria 

con acqua, detersivi o altre sostanze aggressive.

3) Even avoid to get the costume jewelry in touch 

with water, detergents or other aggressive substances.

4) Non portarli per tanto tempo, durante  la notte, 

durante l’attività fisica

 o quando fa molto caldo: anche il sudore può opacizzare i metalli.

4) Do not wear them for a long time, during the night, 

during exercise

  or when it is very warm: even sweat can oxidise metals.

E' stata Providence, una città di Rhode Island, a costituire il punto di partenza della creazione dei famosi “gioielli delle dive”. Successivamente, poi, la bigiotteria è diventata molto comune ed utilizzata anche tra persone comuni, sia per l' economicità di questi prodotti, sia per la loro bellezza. A new time of my life

Quale momento migliore per iniziare un blog se non a inizio gennaio? Anno nuovo, vita nuova… blog nuovo! Ho sentito l’esigenza di aprire questo spazio per dare concretezza alla mia creatività… il che sembra un paradosso, se intendiamo la creatività come un qualcosa di astratto… ma sono mesi che mi diletto a ideare bijoux per me e le mie amiche… stanca di vedere sempre le solite cose, ho deciso di inventare gioiellini che si distinguessero per la loro unicità… ogni modello è a sé, mai un doppione… questo è il fil rouge che accompagna il mio progetto…

Finalmente metto in pratica quel che avevo in mente da mesi… questo blog sarà incentrato sulle cose che più amo, ma soprattutto sull’idea di condividerle con altre persone… Fotografia, cucina, lifestyle, viaggi e, ultimo ma non meno importante, bijoux! Sarà l’insieme di tante passioni… Scriveva Albert Einstein: "I have no special talents, I am only passionately curious".

What better time to start a blog if not at the beginning of January? New year, new life… new blog! I felt the need to open this space to give shape to my creativity… This seems a paradox, if we understand creativity like something abstract… but they are months that I enjoy designing costume jewelry for me and my friends… I was tired of seeing always the same things and I decided to invent costume jewelry that stood out for their uniqueness… each model is different and it is never a copy of another one… this is the leitmotif that accompanies my plan…

At last I practice what I had in mind for months… this blog will be centered around the things I love most, but especially around the idea of ​​sharing them with other people… Photography, cooking, lifestyle, travel and, last but not least, costume jewelry! It will be a whole of many passions… Albert Einstein wrote "I have no special talents, I am only passionately curious".
