How preserve your costume jewelry

Ciao a tutti!!

Scusate l’assenza ma questa settimana ho avuto troppe cose da fare e 

non ho avuto il tempo per scrivere e creare…

Vorrei iniziare la settimana dandovi qualche consiglio 

per mantenere al meglio i vostri bijoux… 

Hello everybody!

Sorry for the absence, but this week I had too many things to do and 

I have not had the time to write and create...

I would like to start the week giving you a few suggestions 

to preserve your costume jewelry...

1) Conservateli sempre in una scatola chiusa (meglio una scatola per ogni bijoux oppure se avete un portagioie separate ogni bijoux con un panno morbido): 

l'esposizione all'aria, alla luce e alla polvere ossida e opacizza i metalli.

1) Always keep them in a closed box (preferably a box for each costume jewelry, or if you have a box for jewels separate every costume jewelry with a soft cloth): 

the exposure to air, light and dust oxidises and tarnishes metals.

2) Truccatevi e profumatevi prima di indossarli: 

i profumi, come pure i cosmetici e le lacche, contengono agenti 

chimici in grado di opacizzare i vostri gioielli.

2) Make you up and perfume you before wearing them: 

fragrances, as well as cosmetics and hairspray, contain chemicals 

agents that can oxidise your jewelry.

3) Evitate anche di far entrare in contatto la bigiotteria 

con acqua, detersivi o altre sostanze aggressive.

3) Even avoid to get the costume jewelry in touch 

with water, detergents or other aggressive substances.

4) Non portarli per tanto tempo, durante  la notte, 

durante l’attività fisica

 o quando fa molto caldo: anche il sudore può opacizzare i metalli.

4) Do not wear them for a long time, during the night, 

during exercise

  or when it is very warm: even sweat can oxidise metals.

Quello di oggi sarà un post/tutorial sui braccialetti che ho realizzato con piccoli cristalli di Boemia. Per chi come me è appassionata di cuori, cuoricini, fiorellini, nastrini, questi sono gli accessori ideali, da utilizzare singoli o in serie per vivacizzare anche il look di tutti i giorni.

Today post will be a post/tutorial about the bracelets I made with small crystals of Bohemia.

For people like me who are fond of hearts, small hearts, small flowers, ribbons, these are the ideal accessories to be used all alone or in series to juice up even the look of every day. 

Per farli basta prendere del filo elastico della giusta misura (adatta ai cristalli), alcuni cristalli rosa sorbetto, delle chiusure di diverso tipo e passanti delle forme preferite.

To create them you just have to take the elastic thread of the right size (suitable for crystals), some pink sorbet crystals, some locks of different types and loops of the favourite forms. 

Ed ecco il risultato finale! Non sono deliziosi? 

And here is the final result! They are adorable... Aren't they?
