Sono giorni che ci penso… ed effettivamente devo riconoscere che a renderci veramente felici sono le piccole cose… uno sguardo complice, un sorriso che ti dia coraggio, una carezza, il ricordo di una canzone… quanti bei pensieri riaffiorano alla mente… peccato che ci si renda conto dell’importanza di certe cose quando non le si hanno più… è allora che gli si dà il giusto peso… quando la mancanza di quella piccola cosa ci fa essere diversi, non ci fa più sentire come prima… aveva ragione un mio amico quando diceva che siamo schiavi delle nostre abitudini… modificarle non è così immediato… ma bisogna guardare avanti, convinti che le piccole cose che non abbiamo più daranno spazio a cose nuove e altrettanto semplici… perché per assurdo anche le cose più piccole sono immensamente magnifiche.
These are days that I’m thinking… and actually I must admit that what makes us really happy are the little things… a knowing look, a smile that gives you courage, a caress, the memory of a song… lots of good thoughts come to mind… too bad that we realize the importance of certain things when we don’t have them more… it is then that you give due weight… when the lack of that little thing makes us different, makes us feel not like before… one of my friends was right when he said that we are slaves to our habits… change them is not so immediate… but we must look ahead, convinced that the little things that we haven’t more will give space for new simple things… because, by some remote chance, even the smallest things are immensely beautiful.
