2012… new promises to myself

In viaggio

Penso e ripenso agli obiettivi che mi sono prefissata quest’anno… dalle idee più banali ai traguardi più impegnativi… Rifletto su quello che è stato, ma soprattutto su quel che sarà… Le cose che vorrei fare, quelle che devo fare. Progetti tanti… E un dubbio… riuscirò a portarli tutti a buon fine? L’importante è combinare tanta voglia di fare e di migliorarsi con un pizzico di umiltà ma anche di carattere… fosse facile, eh?

''Guardo avanti, per andare avanti e mai guardarmi indietro''… farò mia questa citazione… il desiderio di rinnovamento è forte… come l’idea di affrontare nuove sfide… ma senza mai snaturarsi, perché ciò che conta è rimanere se stessi. Comincerò così quest’anno nuovo, con grinta… D’altronde “Chi ben comincia è a metà dell’opera” ;)

Many plans… And one doubt… can I bring them all to fruition? The important thing is to combine a great desire of doing and improving with a pinch of humility but also character… even if it’s not so easy…

“'I look forward to go forward and never look back”… this quote will be mine… the desire for renewal is strong… as well as the idea of ​​facing new challenges… but without ever losing our true nature, because what counts is to remain ourselves. I'll start this new year in this way, with grit… Anyway “Well begun is half done” ;)

Time goes… Hours go…

Siamo già alla seconda settimana dell’anno… il tempo vola… e pensare che solo 7 giorni fa brindavamo per salutare il 2011… e ci sentivamo ancora in vacanza… Adesso si è tornati al tran tran quotidiano, e riabituarcisi dopo un breve periodo di relax è decisamente pesante… in un qualche modo però ce la faremo… chi prima e chi poi… e chi, come me, alternando i doveri alle proprie passioni. Buona settimana!

Ecco qui alcune delle mie prime creazioni… Ciascun modello è un pezzo unico, interamente ideato e realizzato a mano da me… Sono tutti regali che ho fatto alle mie amiche… Ognuna di loro ha ricevuto la sua creazione “personalizzata”… e dalle reazioni ho potuto dedurre che son piaciuti molto!!!

Ogni occasione è buona per festeggiare… Ebbene sì… Ieri ho trascorso l’epifania con tanti amici e questi simpatici dolcetti fatti in casa … Si chiamano “Raffaello”, proprio perché la ricetta assomiglia a quella dei fantastici bon bon ricoperti di cocco… Nel linguaggio tecnico sono detti “Coccoline”… E perché non farsi “coccolare” dolcemente da queste praline monoporzione che si sciolgono in bocca? Ricotta, zucchero e una spolverata di cocco… Tre ingredienti per un dessert da assaporare in tutta calma in occasione di una ricorrenza o da gustare velocemente a colazione prima di andare al lavoro. Alla fine le cose semplici sono sempre le migliori… Anche quando si tratta di inaugurare il nuovo anno.

Every occasion is good to celebrate… Oh yes… Yesterday I spent the Epiphany with many friends and these lovely homemade small cakes… They are called “Raphael”, because the recipe looks like the one of the fantastic covered coconut bon bon… In the tecnical jargon they are called “Coccoline”, a sweet term that refers to the cuddles… And why not to get cuddling softly by this sweet dish in one portion that melt in your mouth? Ricotta cheese, sugar and a sprinkling of coconut… Three ingredients for a dessert to be savored in peace on the occasion of a festivity or to be relished quickly before going to work. In the end the simple things are always the best… Even when it comes to inaugurate the new year.

A new time of my life

Quale momento migliore per iniziare un blog se non a inizio gennaio? Anno nuovo, vita nuova… blog nuovo! Ho sentito l’esigenza di aprire questo spazio per dare concretezza alla mia creatività… il che sembra un paradosso, se intendiamo la creatività come un qualcosa di astratto… ma sono mesi che mi diletto a ideare bijoux per me e le mie amiche… stanca di vedere sempre le solite cose, ho deciso di inventare gioiellini che si distinguessero per la loro unicità… ogni modello è a sé, mai un doppione… questo è il fil rouge che accompagna il mio progetto…

Finalmente metto in pratica quel che avevo in mente da mesi… questo blog sarà incentrato sulle cose che più amo, ma soprattutto sull’idea di condividerle con altre persone… Fotografia, cucina, lifestyle, viaggi e, ultimo ma non meno importante, bijoux! Sarà l’insieme di tante passioni… Scriveva Albert Einstein: "I have no special talents, I am only passionately curious".

What better time to start a blog if not at the beginning of January? New year, new life… new blog! I felt the need to open this space to give shape to my creativity… This seems a paradox, if we understand creativity like something abstract… but they are months that I enjoy designing costume jewelry for me and my friends… I was tired of seeing always the same things and I decided to invent costume jewelry that stood out for their uniqueness… each model is different and it is never a copy of another one… this is the leitmotif that accompanies my plan…

At last I practice what I had in mind for months… this blog will be centered around the things I love most, but especially around the idea of ​​sharing them with other people… Photography, cooking, lifestyle, travel and, last but not least, costume jewelry!
