Chi è nata tra gli anni ’80 e ’90 si ricorderà che all’asilo da bambine si giocava a vestire un modellino in carta con i vestiti che si preferivano… ecco io ho trovato un app per iPhone alquanto inutile ma altrettanto divertente che ricorda questo gioco… Pickle's Paper Dolls… l’applicazione è disponibile sia nella versione a pagamento che in quella gratuita… da provare!!! Della serie “perché non ci si può sempre prendere sul serio". :)

Who was born in the '80s and '90s will remember the game with whom, at kindergarten,  we could dress up a paper model with clothes that we preferred… Here I have found an app for iPhone quite useless but equally fun that remembers this game… Paper Dolls… the application is available in the version with fee and in the free one… to try!!! Of the series “Because you cannot always take yourself seriously". :)

E' stata Providence, una città di Rhode Island, a costituire il punto di partenza della creazione dei famosi “gioielli delle dive”. Successivamente, poi, la bigiotteria è diventata molto comune ed utilizzata anche tra persone comuni, sia per l' economicità di questi prodotti, sia per la loro bellezza. […] Sebbene la bigiotteria sia nata nel lontano 1930, solo negli ultimi anni questa si sta evolvendo, diventando un hobby a tutti gli effetti. […] La bigiotteria vera e propria, indipendente da quella “moderna”, è nata nel Settecento, quando gli aristocratici o chiunque possedesse gioielli di un certo valore, si recava da famosi artigiani e orafi per farsi creare gioielli identici da sostituire agli originali, per evitare eventuali furti o perdite. Successivamente, sempre più donne appartenenti al ceto medio della popolazione, incominciarono a commissionare copie di gioielli preziosi […] tanto da non essere distinguibili in mancanza di una lente d' ingrandimento o di una bilancia e, ovviamente, di un vero intenditore del settore.}
